Privacy
We collect the little we need to run stories for creators and guests, and nothing more. This page says exactly what that means, in plain language.
You sign in to the Studio through Clerk, our authentication provider. Clerk sets the cookies that keep your session signed in and stores your name and email address. We use them to run your studio and to reach you about your account.
Guests play stories without an account. When a story asks for an email address, giving it is optional and we use it only to send the access link. Guests are never added to mailing lists.
Some stories include a companion that guests can ask questions during a visit. Chat messages are stored so the companion can answer and so we can keep the service reliable. They are never sold and never used for advertising.
We record anonymous events such as story starts and completions. They tell creators how a story is doing and contain no personal details.
Paid access is processed by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe and never touch SevenTales; we keep only the order records needed to grant access and report results.
SevenTales runs on servers hosted in the European Union.
